More Details

A friendly meet up for South Wales Autistic Women to walk around Nell’s Point and on to Friar’s Point Barry Island.

Meet at 11 am in front of Barry Island Station for an informal and relaxed walk followed by a cuppa.

A mix of tarmac and footpaths some slightly. This walk is around 2 miles and likely to last around 1-1.5hrs depending on how fast we move and how many stops we make. We are planning to follow this walk and cuppa stop with a visit to the crazy golf on the Promenade (weather permitting). Charges apply for mini golf – everyone can pay for themselves on the day. The cost for this is around £7 per person at the time of checking..

Various local car parks – charges apply.

Bring some cash for the cafe if you are planning to stay for a cuppa/crazy golf at the end of the walk.

What to Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable footwear, and any personal items you may need for the walk.

Children: This walk is exclusively for Autistic women and is designed to create a peaceful, adult-only space.

Dogs on short leads welcome on this walk.
